The National Cancer Institute intends to negotiate with Starks Associates, Inc. for a three month extension to Contract No. N01-CM-27763 for the Preparation of Anti-AIDS Bulk Chemicals and Drugs. This project is to provide and operate a chemical preparation laboratory. This laboratory shall use existing processes or develop new processes, procedures and techniques for the preparation of compounds and the synthesis of varying amounts of materials, not readily available from other sources in the quantity and/or quality needed. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. The three month extension is solely intended to cover the estimated period between the expiration of the current contract and award of a new contract. See Note 22.
