A -- COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS AND OTHER TRANSACTIONS POC Willard M. Whisner, Contracting Officer, (407)380-8137 The U.S. Army Simultion, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) is searching for commercial companies, universities, or joint ventures which are interested in Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions for the interests identified in the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) 95-02. Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions, authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2358 and 2371, are innovative agreements between industry and the Department of Defense under which the Army will share up to 50% of the cost of development of new and innovative tehcnologies that have both military and commercial application. In accordance with the process identified in BAA 95-02, interested parties are requested to submit white papers to Mr. Ray Green at STRICOM (Attn: AMSTI-ET). White Papers should specifically indicate interest in Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions. White Papers will be accepted on a continuous basis until 1 August 2000. STRICOM is requesting the submission of White Papers for Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions for planning purposes only and is not committed to enter into such an agreement. Additionally, STRICOM is presently preparing a pamphlet on Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions which summarizes the requirements and features of such instruments.
