Open End (Indefinite Delivery) Architectural/Engineer Services for various architectural, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering projects (Type A and at Government option B and C Services) for design of various projects at the Air National Guard Base, Moffett Federal Airfield, California 94035-5006, as may be ordered for a period of one year after contract award with an option to extend services for an additional year. The A/E will receive a minimum of $5,000.00 design fees, no individual delivery order shall exceed $150,000.00 and total fees paid under the resultant contract shall not exceed $750,000.00. Work will include the preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for each project. Projects may include repair, maintenance, alteration and construction of pavement and drainage facilities, industrial and office buildings, fire alarm systems, gas, water and sewer systems and the evaluation and alteration of heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. Above noted work may require the plans and specifications to include the safe handling and proper disposal of hazardous wastes such as asbestos, lead paint, PCB's, etc. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following selection criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; (7) Total dollar amount of DOD fees awarded in the past 12 months. Types of contract is indefinite delivery. This is an unrestricted announcement. The estimated start and completion dates of the projects are unknown at this time. Firms will indicate on their 255's the total number of DOD awards within the past 12 months prior to the date of the announcement. A/E firms which meet requirements described in this announcement and wish to be considered must submit SF254 and SF255 data.
