CORRECTION: This amends the original notice to reflect a closing date of April 1, 1996 and a new contracting officer, Tony Simmons. This is a solicitation for field review of appraisals done on single family homes in HUD's Real Estate Owned inventory in southern Florida (Coral Gables Field Office jurisdiction). Real Estate Owned is the new name for the Property Disposition (PD) Branch. The contract period will be from the award date through September 30, 1996, with options for three one-year extensions. Contractor must be either a State licensed or State certified appraiser in Florida. Contractor must also have knowledge or realty practices related to market value of real property, skill in collecting data, ability to prepare clear reports, and valuation experience in 1-4 family properties; must be familiar with industry appraisal techniques and HUD processing procedures; must have six years of experience including three years in appraisal work and three years in review appraisal work. This will be a firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract. Work will be assigned by delivery orders. All responsible sources may submit a bid.
