The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-5209 with Westinghouse Norden Systems, 75 Maxess Road, Melville, NY 11747-3182. Orders will be issued for Field Engineering Services and Support for installation, checkout, testing or repair of any radar system, field change kit, peripheral equipment and\or units associated with the AN\SPS-40B\C\D\E Radar. Orders will be issued pursuant 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Westinghouse Norden Systems is the orginial equipment manufacturer and sole producer of the AN\SPS-40B\C\D\E Radar. It is one of a limited number of responsible sources which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to support the required AN\SPS-40 Radar tasks, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Navy's requirements.
