59 -- FULL SCALE ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT OF THE AIR DELIVERED-GROUND /EXPANDABLE JAMMING SYSTEM (AD/EXJAM). SOL DAAB10-96-R-Q001 DUE 031896 POC H. Reddrick Cunningham, Contract Specialist, (540) 349-5689/Anna L. Kerr, Contracting Officer, (540) 349-5719. This is a sole source action to Loral Control Systems, Archbald, PA. This action will encompass design improvements and procurement of Artillery Delivered Expandable Jammers (AD/EXJAM) adapted for delivery via Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The AD/EXJAM payload will be improved to refine the jammer antenna matching network, increase reliability of the UAV relay unit and jammer base plate, and complete integration of the system to the target UAV carrier. Procurement of sixty (60) ECM modules, fouteen (14) dispensing carriers, and four (4) UAV relay units will be conducted for use in testing and demostrations. Analytical work defining operational use and effectiveness will also be required, and necessary technical support will be included for operational demostrations and exercises designed to show Electronic Attach (EA) utility to IEW warfighters on the battlefield.
