66 -- BALLISTIC CALIBRATORS SOL N68335-96-R-0084 DUE 032896 POC Bernice Kephart Code 213BK, (908) 323-2065. This procurement is for Ballistic Calibrators for the EF-18 Program. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure from EG & G Flow Technology, the manufacturer of the Ballistic Calibrators, P/Ns MT-01, MT-10 and OT-400, quantity 1 each, under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with an approved Justification and Approval. Firms that recognize and produce the required item described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note(s): 22.
