Brookhaven National Laboratory wishes to contract for the delivery, storage, including related equipment, and vaporization of 12,000 tons of liquid carbon dioxide over a 18-month period at a research site at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Period of performance is anticipated to start on or about April 1, 1996, and continue for 18 months. On site storage, to be supplied by successful contractor, will have a capacity of at least 100 tons of refrigerated liquid carbon dioxide. The supplied CO2 must have a C12/C13 ratio significantly different from recently fixed carbon dioxide and be completely depleted in C14. The CO2 may not be derived from modern carbon sources such as biomass fermentation or oxidation.
