The Annapolis Detachment of CD Naval Surface Warfare Center is purchasing a TEAC RX816 8 mm recorder. Our requirement's minimum specifications are: 16 channel; DC to 20 Khz bandwidth; from .5 to 20 Volt Peak Input; 80 DB dynamic range; one degree maximum channel phase difference; RS-232, SCSI and GPIB minimum; unit must be 100% compatible with data recorded by a TEAC RX-816; unit shall have a built-in monitor for recorder setup and data viewing; weight shall not exceed 45 pounds; unit shall be powered by 115v, 60Hz. It is intended to award this on a sole source basis with Integral Marketing Inc. They are the only responsible source for this TEAC Recorder under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
