Work to include collecting combined sewage samples from the Chicago metropolitan sewersystem during large storm events and analyzing the samples. It will also consist of furnishing all equipment, collecting samples, inspecting and maintaining the equipment, providing labor available 24 hours a day, performing chemical analyses,preparing reports, delivering the samples to the laboratory and executing all work in strict accordance with the requirements and schedules specified in the scope of work. It is anticipated one contract will be awarded as a result of this announcementfor a period of one year. The Chicago District intends to sole source the contract with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for the subject services. The SIC code for this solicitation is 8711.
