Pursuant to the Waiver Terms and Conditions as issued by the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, for the welfare reform program ``Ohio: A State of Opportunity'', the Director of the Ohio Department of Human Services (ODHS) gives notice of the Department's intent to evaluate the Children of Opportunity project. The goal of the project is to improve the school attendance of children in receipt of AFDC cash benefits. The project was implemented September 1, 1995 and will operate through June 30, 2000. ODHS estimates total evaluation expenditures of $750,000 for this project. A copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) can be obtained by written or telephone request to the above contact point person.
