The Environmental Science and Research Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization that performs environmental surveillance and ecological research under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, is interested in procuring expertise to conduct research on bats in sagebrush-steppe habitat, and is seeking qualified university researchers. Bats known in the area include several C2 species, at least one of which is thought to use lava-tube caves as hibernacula and maternity roosts.
