C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A-E) SERVICES FOR STUDY OF PRIMARY ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AT MINOT AFB, ND SOL F32604-96-R0028. Due 030196. Contact Point, Dwight E. Slotto, 701/723-4178. Minot Air Force Base, ND, is seeking qualified firms to provide Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for the engineering and planning necessary to conduct a comprehensive study of the primary electrical distribution system at Minot AFB, ND. Design services required included investigation, inspection, studies, reports, cost estimates, and drawings in ACAD-12. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in required time; 4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided, that the application of this criteria leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; 6) Acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria. Contract performance period is 210 days. A-E firms desiring consideration should submit an SF 254 and SF 255 not later than close of business on 01 Mar 96 in order to be considered. Cover letters and unnecessarily elaborate brochures, or other presentations beyond those sufficient to present a complete and effective response are not desired.
