Restall, Contract Specialist, (716) 879-4251 Work consists of, but is not limited to, removal and disposal of all asbestos containing materials (ACM) from the J & J Castings Inc. site, Two Harbors, Lake County, MN. Most of the ACM is 4, 6 and 10 inch pipe lagging (in excess of 4,500 lf.) much of which is not intact. There is other asbestos debris located throughout the interior and exterior of the facility which includes: a Roundhouse, Machine Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Boiler Shop, Electrical Shop, Garage, Oil House, Sand Tower and Administration Building. All ACM will be properly handled, removed (which may include confined entry), contained, shipped and disposed of by a licensed contractor for asbestos abatement in Minnesota, in accordance with all Federal and State of Minnesota laws, regulations and standards applicable to asbestos abatement. Upon completion, the facilities will be clean of all ACM, inspected and confirmed by representatives of both the Corps of Engineers and the State of Minnesota.
