Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock & repairs including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) renew deck plating, framing, and deck covering in messing space (2) fabricate and install rope guards (3) remove, inspect and reinstall propeller shaft (4) renew water-lubricated port shaft bearings (5) renew water-lubricated starboard shaft bearings (6) remove, inspect and reinstall propeller (7) preserve antennas and antenna foundations (8) preserve the transducer hull ring and renew the depth indicating transducer (9) overhaul, renew and test valves (10) inspect and overhaul sea strainers (11) modify generator sea chest suction valves (12) remove, inspect and reinstall rudder (13) replace sewage tank assembly and tank level sensing system (14) renew tow rail, stern chock, and stanchions (15) preserve lazarette bilges (16) preserve main hold bilges (17) clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks (18) remove, dispose and provide new fuel (19) non-destructive coating system thickness measurements (20) preserve forward peak void (21) clean, inspect and disinfect potable water tank (22) preserve galley/crew's mess bilges (23) preserve sewage void (24) renew corrosion preventive zinc anodes (25) provide temporary messing (26) provide temporary berthing (26) temporary logistics (27) routine drydocking. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the following: (1) welding repairs (2) stud renewal (3) renew bimetallic transition joint (4) fabricate and install rope guards (5) align caterpillar main engine (6) renew stern tube (7) ultrasonic testing (8) additional temporary logistics etc. Vessel's homeport for the USCGC PT HURON is Norfolk, VA, the homepier for the USCGC PT HIGHLAND is Chincoteague, VA. Vessel availability schedule is for the USCGC PT HURON is 10 Jun 96 for 35 days, the USCGC PT HIGHLAND is 12 Aug 96 or 35 days. Vessel's length is 82 foot patrol boat. Specifications will be issued on or after 26 Feb 1996. All referenced documents are available for viewing at building 400N, Governors Island, NY. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a Certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 26 Feb 96. All responsible Sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
