COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF FEBRUARY 16,1996 PSA#1533

Department of Treasury, Comptroller of the Currency, Acquisitions Branch, 4-13, 250 E Street, SW, Washington, DC 20219

V -- HOTEL GUEST ROOMS, MEETING ROOMS AND RELATED SERVICES POC Anthony E. Cooch (202) 874-5036. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires the services of qualified hotels to provide the OCC with guest rooms, meetings rooms, and related hotel services during 1996. The OCC will use such services to support OCC employees who are on business travel and to support specific OCC mission-related functions such as training. Although the OCC may have hotel requirements anywhere in the country, the agency's requirements will primarily be in Washington, D.C.; New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, MO; San Francisco, CA; and Chicago, IL. The OCC requests that hotels that have a business class rating or higher and that are interested in doing business with the OCC provide a brief capability statement describing the hotel (location, size, amenities, etc.) and a list of references. The OCC will evaluate all submissions and add those hotels that it determines are capable of providing the quality of services it needs to its 1996 bidders list. It is not necessary for hotels that have done business with OCC in the past to submit information; they will be added to the bidders list automatically. The OCC will issue all 1996 hotel solicitations, as applicable, to those hotels on its 1996 bidders list. All requests to be added to OCC's 1996 bidders list must be received within 30 days after publication of this notice. Address all requests to the Comptroller of the Currency, Acquisition Services, 4-13, 250 E Street, SW, Washington, DC 20219. This is the only announcement that will be published for OCC's 1996 hotel requirements. (043)
