Estimated price range of the work is between $1,000,001 to 5,000,000 - -Copies of solicitation provided on receipt of $40 each, nonrefundable. The work to be performed under this solicitation is to remove and control water for pipeline construction; furnish and lay 42-inch-diameter discharge pipeline from the pumping plant discharge manifold to the outlet structure; construct cast-in-place reinforced concrete for pumping plant structure, air chamber foundation, canal turnout structure, trash collection pit, outlet structure, blowoff structures, air valve structures, flowmeter structure, floatwell structure, encasements for discharge manifold, and pipeline encasements; furnish and install guardrails, ladders, grab bars, gratings, frames, covers, floor and roof access hatches, concrete filled guardposts, and other miscellaneous metalwork items; furnish and erect corrugated metal pipe and precast concrete pipe vertically for flowmeter structure, air valve structures, floatwell structure and blowoff structures; construct electrical control building consisting of earthwork, cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab and foundation, reinforced concrete unit masonry walls, wood roof framing, metal roof, steel door, wall mounted air conditioner and heater, and lighting and electrical distribution systems; furnish and install steel piping, metal piping and valves, trashrack metalwork, vertical turbine pumping units, air chamber, hydraulic trash rake, transporter system, differential water-level controls, flowmeter, and cast iron slide gates; furnish and install grounding, conduit and cable systems, electrical equipment including 480-volt reduced voltage starters, circuit breaker panelboards, control board, interface terminal cabinet, combination transformer/loadcenter, pushbutton station, probe unit assembly, luminaries, and wiring for lighting system; and earthwork; fencing; and reseeding. A portion of our requirement is for furnishing and installing an Atlas Polar Trashrake system. Atals Polar is the only known manufacturer for the required automatic trashrake system. A market survey was conducted by the contracting office via a sources sought synopsis published on March 22, 1994. No response was received in response to the CBD announcement. (0045)
