This CBD Announcement published 2 February 1996 is modified to read as follows: The work consists of upgrading approximately 36,682 linear feet of an existing gravel road, grinding the surface of approximately 13,714 linear feet of an existing soil cement levee, constructing approximately 22,650 linear feet of new gravel road, clearing and grubbing, placing riprap, drainage culverts, and placing filter fabric. If a subcontracting plan is required, the following minimum subcontracting goals will be applicable: Small Business Subcontracting - 53% (includes small disadvantaged and woman owned businesses) of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount, Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting - 9% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount (includes Historically Black Colleges or Universities/Minority Institutions), Women Owned Small Business Subcontracting - 3% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount, and Historically Black Colleges or Universities/Minority Institutions - 5% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount.
