Project is the demolition and build-out of approximately 9000 square feet of first floors vacant space. The project includes the construction of a new cafeteria including seating, serving, food preparation and storage areas. Also included in the project is the renovation and reconstruction of the corridor and separating wall between the cafeteria space and the public corridor. Work to include general demolition and material removal. Construction will include several types of wall construction including: concrete block, glass block and metal stud construction. A variety of above average finishes including: custom millwork, tile, marble, painting, floor and wall coverings. Existing mechanical systems will be expanded and extended into the new cafeteria space including special meeting room and kitchen equipment, sinks, and appliances. New doors and windows will be installed for interior use. The term of the base contract is 150 calendar days after the contractor receives notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost if between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project has been set-aside for Small Business. The Small Business Size Standard for this project is $17 million.
