Dawson (502) 798-7857 (Site Code DAKF23) Road Shoulder Erosion Control, consisting of shaping, grading, placing riprap, seedbed preparation, seeding, cultipacking, fertilizing, and mulching approximately 5 miles of road shoulders on both sides of the designated roads. Road shoulder widths approximate 20 feet but vary from one area to another. The purpose of the work is soil erosion control in ditchlines and on backslopes. Graveling of the roads will be required also. Work is located in the vicinity of Training Areas 31, 32, 33, and 34, approximately 15-20 miles from Gate 4, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The SIC Code is 1629/$17.0 million. The estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period will be 270 calendar days. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
