Solicitation notice issued on or about 2/1/96. Solicitation notice for
the Establishment of Federal supply schedule contracts for FSC
4610-water purification equipment. Item 1. Water purification units:
Water treatment systems designed to capture, clean, re-use or pretreat
waste water. These Commercial unit(S) should remove contaminants (such
as oil, soluble oil, grease and soil) from awaste stream, and then
automatically store the cleaned water for reuse. Theunit(S) treats
water from high volume, steam or pressure cleaning Operations, such as
motor Pool cleaning, Road maintenance equipment cleaning and tool and
parts cleaning. Item 2. Water filtration system: Filters out harmful
bacteria and parasitesusing replaceable filter media, for consumption
by Persons without access to safe water supplies. Personal and squad
use. Complete systems as well ascomponents. Filters out harmful

items/Technologies for fsg 46. These Commercial units should be state
of the ART and be designed to reduce hazardous waste. Item 4.
Accessories and spare parts (for the above items). Contracts will be
negotiated for standard Commercial units/systems under the multiple
award schedule (Mas) program and will be entered into with more than
one firm offering similar type items. The contracts awarded will
beindefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity, fixed price with economic
priceadjustment, $100 guaranteed minimum. Contract period is 5 years:
9/1/96, or date of award, through 8/31/01 and the Sol will included an
option to extend the term of the contract for 5 years. The option will
be evaluated at time of award and made part of all basic contracts
awarded pursuant to the Solicitation. Delivery is FOB destination
zonal: Zones 1-10 comprise the 48 contiguous States and the district of
Columbia. The Solicitation will included a new price reduction and
maximum order clause, and be industrial funded. The Federal acquisition
streamlining act (fasa) of 1994 establishes the Federal acquisition
network (facnet). Facnet requires the Government to evolve its
acquisition process from one driven by paperwork into an expedited
process based on electronic Commerce/electronic data interchange. To
meet this requirement GSA is developing GSA advantage, a menu-driven
on-line database system designed to provide customers with electronic
access to products and services under gsacontracts. This Solicitation
will contain new clauses required to obtain electronic contract data
for GSA advantage. Competition will be full and open, and . All
