65 -- AUTOMATED MANAGEMENT DISPENSING SYSTEM SOL RFP-526-16-96 DUE 030196 POC Contact Point, Catherine O'Brien, (718)584-9000x3317 The Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, which is Addiction Management Systems of Rockville Center, New York, under authority of FAR 6.302, for an automated management and dispensing system for substance abuse programs. This software is designed to automate the dispensing process; record and track client demographic data; product reports for regulatory agencies; manage the clinic inventory and record case management activities for the methadone clients. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before March 1, 1996 of this synopsis will be determined by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is received as a result of a notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
