DuBose, 301/415-6578 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking firms marketing a commercial off-the-shelf software package to replace the Agency's existing system and meet the Agency's property management and associated financial reporting requirements. Interested firms must be able to validate their product, as well as provide the data conversion, installation, testing, maintenance, and technical advisory support. The NRC presently has Intel or 100% compatible processors. The NRC standard workstation configuration consists of an 80486/33Mhz system unit containing an average 400MB hard drive and 8MB RAM, and a 15'' SVGA color monitor. The operating system is DOS version 5.0 and above coupled with Windows 3.1. The NRC LANs are configured as 16 Mbps Token Rings using a physical star topology on twisted pair cable (IBM Type 1). The product must be able to work within a local/wide area network and desktop environment, preferably supporting client/server architecture. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all concerns, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
