The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Yemen is seeking qualified applicants for a Personal Services Contract position as Office Chief of the Health, Population, and Nutrition (HPN) Office. The HPN Office Chief will be expected to perform a wide range of technical and management activities, including, but not limited to, establishing and refining mission strategies and objectives, designing, monitoring, and evaluating activities, consulting with the host country government, donor agencies, and other partners, and office management. Qualifications include: U.S Citizen, Masters Degree in Public Health or a related field, at least eight years of Health Project Management experience with at least five years in a developing country desired, native fluency in English and excellent English writing skills, with some Arabic speaking ability desirable, and strong communications and management skills including excellent computer skills particularly in the use of IBM wordperfect, Windows, and Lotus.
