The Coastal Systems Station Dahlgren Division, NSWC, has a requirement for the production of Obstacle Avoidance Sonar (OAS) systems for underwater craft. These systems will be fabricated in accordance with the government's technical data package, which will be furnished with the solicitation. It is anticipated that this contract will be Firm Fixed-Price, with award to that technically acceptable offeror with the lowest cost. The contract quantity will be for ten (10) systems, with initial delivery of one (1) system within four (4) months of contract award; delivery of the remaining nine (9) systems will be approximately every two months thereafter until the entire order has been completed. There will also be a requirement to fabricate an initial quantity of spare parts for the OAS system. An option for up to five (5) additional OAS systems is also anticipated.
