Key sets individually entrapped until released by entry of a personal identification number (PIN). Keys are removable without additional code entry. Internal battery back-up in the event of power failure. Internal memory is non-volatile in case of main battery or power failure. Nominal dimensions of the cabinet is 19''W X 24''H X 5''D, Unit is programmable to do various security functions such as: Only keys assigned to a user for a specified time period can be removed from the cabinet; Internal memory stores the latest events and all programmed functions; Program time zones to control key use times, provide users different keys at different times while using one PIN; report non- returned keys, door left open, AC Power outage, and key pad tampering. Built in serial printer in cabinet prints all events stored in memory and provides audit trails to display every access, alarm and key movement by time, date and user code. The equipment is provided on a ''Brand Name or Equal'' basis for models manufactured by Key Systems Inc. and Morse Watchmans Inc. Prospective offerors may offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name, as long as they meet the salient characteristics specified in the solicitation in essentially the same manner as the brand name product. The solicitation is restricted to small business concerns. Size standard for small business concerns is 500 employees. The standard Industry Code (SIC) is 2542. Period of performance is for 12 months from the date of award. An option to extend the terms of the contract for an additional 12 months is available as a unilateral right of the Government.
