X -- DETENTION SERVICES (HOUSING, CARE AND SECURITY) FOR PRETRIAL PRISONERS IN THE SOUTH DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA SOL MS-96-R-0020 POC Maxine Robinson, Contracting Officer, 202-307-9336. The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has an urgent need for an interim pre-trail detention services contract for the housing of approximately 75 pre-trail women prisoners in support of the Southern District of California. The facility must be located within a 30 mile radius of the USMS San Diego Office. Contract award is anticipated by April 15, 1996. Services will begin immediately after contract award. This will be an interim contract for nine months or until the five-year replacement contract is award. The contractor must comply with the most recent standards for adult detention facilities promulgated by the American Correctional Association (ACA) as well as all local, State and Federal requirement for a correctional facility.
