The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in Menlo Park, California, intends to place on a sole source basis a purchase order with Wildco in Saginaw, MI for field equipment that will sample streams for volatile organic compounds (VOC). This is a requirement for the National Water-Quality Assessment Program (NAWQA) of the USGS. The sampling system will properly trap the volatile organic compounds (VOC) in streams before they precipitate into the atmosphere. The NAWQA program intends to begin nation wide stream sampling for VOC Contaminants on April 1, 1996. No RFQ will be issued for this solicitation.
