Coast Guard has a requirement for six Unisys SuperGen High-end Network
Server Computer Systems and software consisting of the following items:
Each of the six systems shall consist of the following hardware: One
SuperGen High-end Network Server (UNISYS Part No. SGS7101-P); One
SuperGen High-end Network Server Accessory Kit (UNISYS Part No.
SGS7100-ACC); Two 32MB Memory Modules (UNISYS Part No. MTP1-32M); One
SVGA 15'' Color Monitor (UNISYS Part No. EVG400-COL); One 1GB Hard Disk
(UNISYS Part No. ST1050-FX1); One SCSI QIC Drive (UNISYS Part No.
SG525-QIC); One Mouse (UNISYS Part No. SG100-U); One Keyboard (DOS
W/CTOS Legends) (UNISYS Part No. SG102-K); Two WAN Cards (64KBps)
(UNISYS Part No. SG400-P); Two WAN Cards (19.2KBps) (UNISYS Part No.
SG400-C); One 5.25'' Floppy Disk Drive (UNISYS Part No. F5285-00); One
Internal CD-ROM (Quad Speed) NT Compatible (UNISYS Part No.
CDR10-ISD); One Ethernet Card (UNISYS Part No. SG410-P). Three of the
six systems shall consist of the following software: One CTOS III
(Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No. B25-CV2); One X.25 Gateway (Media/Doc)
(UNISYS Part No. NP25-X25); One BNET II (Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No.
NP25-BNT); One OSI Transport WAN (Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No.
NP25-OTW), One OSI Session (Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No. NP25-OSE); One
OFIS Mail (Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No. NP25-XM3); One OSI Transport
LAN (Media/Doc) (UNISYS Part No. NP25-OTL). The items must be
compatible with the Coast Guard's existing UNISYS CTOS II system. The
items purchase must be installed and/or assembled into six complete
systems prior to shipment. Delivery destination: U. S. Coast Guard
Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM), Alexandria,
VA. Delivery Schedule: 2 complete systems by March 31, 1996, 4 complete
systems 60 days after contract award. Contract Period: 60 days from the
date of award. This requirement is expected to be executed using
''Other Than Full and Open Competition'', as defined by FAR 6.302-1.
