Industry is hereby notified that the effort previously synopsized for operational test support at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA, involves a requiring activity whose future is in a state of flux. It is possible that during the term of the contract the performance location will be changed due to Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) requirements. It is also possible that the contract may be terminated for the convenience of the Government as early as FY98. Industry should take these matters into consideration when determining whether or not to submit a proposal to the upcoming solicitation which is anticipated to be released in March. (047)
