Thomas/Msg/Pkb/ 513-257-3591 PMSS/PDMSS (NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE) The Air Force will host an Industry Day, tentatively scheduled for 11 Mar 96, to discuss our requirement for services to support the operation and maintenance of the Program Management Support System (PMSS). PMSS is used by the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Materiel Systems Group (MSG) and the Joint Logistics Systems Center (JLSC). A demonstration of representative applications will be also conducted. The system has been installed at over 25 DOD sites throughout the united States. The current PMSS core application software is the Robbins-Gioia's proprietary Control and Analysis Tool (CAT). Other applications have been written in the CAT language as modular applications which are peripheral to the PMSS and serve a variety of requirements. These include the JLSC's Programmed Depot Maintenance Support System (PDMSS) module and Integrated Management System (IMS), as well as the MSG's Financial Management Module (FMM), Contract Management Module (CMM)( Program and Resource Management Application (PRMA), and other applications. Current program management support combines the expertise of on-site contractor support with automated program management tools to help develop program plans and schedules, track technical, schedule, and cost progress, and conduct ''what if'' analyses. Additional functions include critical path networking, resource and configuration management, and high resolution graphics. The Government requires continued support for all application software, including potential modifications; documentation; training; telecommunications support: hardware maintenance of two (2) Central Sites located at Wright- Patterson AFB (MSG and JLSC); and supplies. Travel is required. Anticipated labor categories include systems, program, cost and budget analysts; systems engineers; configuration managers; logistics specialists; database administrators; and data entry technicians. All information concerning this acquisition, including the Draft Request For Proposal (DRFP) and final RFP, will be available on Hanscom Air Force Base's Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) at http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil. The anticipated size of the acquisition is $150M. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type of contract is anticipated with a period of performance from 01 Mar 97 through 30 Sep 01. An Organizational Conflict of Interest provision excluding participation in any project for which analytical support is provided will be incorporated into any resultant contract. All potential offerors are invited to attend Industry Day. Attendees will be limited to three (3) per potential prime contractor. Potential subcontractors are also limited to three (3) attendees.
