D -- 600-1000 DESKTOP WORKSTATION PROCUREMENT SOL 9-BI2-36-6-03P DUE 030796 POC Contract Specialist: Fran Mahan/Caroline Root, (713) 483-2338 Contract Officer: Ronald Johnson, (713) 483-4164 NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract for 600-1000 desktop workstations to support the Johnson Space Center. JSC will perform a best value analysis for the purpose of selection which best fits the Institutional requirements. The anticipated contract will include delivery of state of the art hardware, integration of a standard software load (provided by JSC as Government Furnished Property), and installation including set-up and local configuration of the workstation onsite at JSC. The Government anticipates Request for Proposal (RFP) release on or about March 7, 1996. Proposals will be due within 30 calendar days of RFP release. Award is anticipated two weeks after proposal receipt. This RFP will be transmitted and available electronically.
