MK-Ferguson of Oak Ridge Company, acting under subcontract No. SE-CM001C with Lockheed Martin Energy Systems (LMES), has construction management responsibilities at the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Pike County, Ohio. There is an anticipated need for the award of General Construction Task Order Subcontract(s). Prospective offerors will be required to meet pre-qualification criteria. The work to be performed shall include, but not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services required to perform general construction. Each general construction task release scoping document will specifically identify and outline the applicable technical requirements and special conditions. Performance and payment bonds will be required for task releases in excess of $100,000. The work will be located at the DOE Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The subcontract(s) will be issued with a one (1) calendar year performance period and the option to extend the performance period by two (2) additional calendar years. Estimated amount: guaranteed minimum of $10,000.00 and maximum not-to-exceed of $10,000,000.00. The estimated period of performance is June 1996 to May 1997. The acquisition described in this solicitation has been set aside for small business concerns. For purposes of this solicitation, small business shall be determined under Standard Industrial Code 1541, General Contractors-Industrial Buildings and Warehouses; $17.0 million annual revenue. The solicitation documents will include such items as the Request for Proposal, Terms and Conditions, and the Special Conditions. Requests for the solicitation package must be received not later than March 12, 1996. Cost to receive the solicitation package will be $50.00 non-refundable, except in the event the project is cancelled prior to issue of the Request For Proposal. (051)
