Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the purchase of Photomask Substrates for Standard Reference Material (SRM) 2800 Optical Microscope Magnification Standard. This Standard Reference Material is intended to provide traceable length scale calibrations. It shall have the form of a standard microscope slide with a linear scale etched in a deposited chrome film and printed in the center of the slide. The scale will be calibrated at NIST and an overall expanded center-to-center calibration uncertainty of +/- 0.1 micrometers from each nominal line position is anticipated. This SRM is expected to be produced from standard photomask blanks using standard photomask techniques and standard photomask quality is required.
