In support of the HST Operations and Ground Systems Project, NASA/GSFC intends to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ)5-67423/985 on a specific make or model basis. This acquisitio is for one (1) Alpha Server 1000 4/233 with 64 MEG, 2GB internal drive including one (1) each of the foloowing: additonal 64 MEG RAM; 21'' monitor, 8.0GB SCSI 4mm dat tape drive; 4.3GB external drive; Raid fast wide SCSI controller; PCI video card; and 32 bit e-net card. Only the Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) Alpha-type computers meet this requirement. This drive must be compatible with the high performance Web server that will run the NT operating system.
