This is a notice of intent to issue NASA Research Announcement (NRA) 96-ATP-04 on or about March 6, 1996. NRA 96-ATP-04 solicits proposals for theoretical research with relevance to the interpretation of data from Space Astrophysics observations. This NRA seeks to address problems in Space Astrophysics which are either broadly applicable across Astrophysics or narrowly focused on a particular subdiscipline of Space Astrophysics (e.g., Ultraviolet and Visible Astrophysics, Infrared and Radio Astrophysics, High Energy Astrophysics). This announcement is the fourth for the Astrophysics Theory Program and solicits proposals for research to begin on or about September 1, 1996, and lasting up to 3 years. Participation in this program is open to all categories of organizations, domestic and foreign, including educational institutions, profit and non-profit organizations, NASA Centers, and other Government agencies.
