The Volpe Center plans to solicite a sole-source, for a simplified acquisition, an unrestricted procurement from the Hughes Aircraft Corporation for the following services: develop, integrate, demonstrate and evaluate under airport conditions a fully functional two sensor ASTRAS subsystem. The subsystem will be configured using existing, non-developmental (NDI) 77 Ghz radar/sensors integrated with a VHF data link modem and computer base digital map on which would be overlaid the radar target information.
