This United States Marshals (USMS) requirement is for the acquisition of hand held, two-way, wide spacing, multi-channel radios with built-in frequency programming capability. The contract will be Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ). Also, each offeror must be capable of performing a site survey at the request of the USMS at designated locations throughout the United States, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. These surveys will be required by the USMS when it is determined that radio transmission may be hampered by an existing problem at a facility where the radios are being utilized. The estimated date of issuance for the solicitation is April 5, 1996. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing showing the requester's complete address, point of contact, and both phone and fax numbers.
