This announcement is intended to find sources who can provide an electronic bulletin board/sign system. The system will consist of the following: 1. A 10' -5'' w x 3' -8'' h x 18'' deep message center consisting of 1,920 five (5) watt lamps capable of senting 10.5'' high letters. The container will be wall mounted, wedgebase, monochrome, in a black cabinet. 2. Above this cabinet will be a 10'.5'' x 12'' display area with a white face, vinyl background, sheetmetal cabinet, and fluorescent illumination of permanent information posted here. 50A 240v service is required. 3. Hardware specification: 486 dx2/66, 210 MB hard drive, 4mb ram, 14'' .28dpi VGA color monitor, 3.5'' floppy drive, extended keyboard, desktop case, dos 6.2, mouse w/pad, 4 additional ISA Bus Slots, vision 2pc card. 4. Software specifications, to numerous to list. Mainly, graphics, and artist productivity tools available, time and temperature display, graphic cut, copy and paste capability, selectable hold times for each frame up to 60 seconds, selectable foreground/background colors, long term scheduling capability, (365 days), CRT edit mode, capable of controlling up to 64 displays from one controller, 16 fonts, and more. 5. Installation to be approximately 9' above ground onto a 6'' concrete wall, drill thru concrete wall for wires, electronic connections, 10 to 12 feet of wire/cord is needed or connection to hardware area.
