synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates
provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
90-36. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate with AT Information
Products, Inc. of 575 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, NJ, the only authorized
OEM provider of the services described below. The Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 3599 and the Small Business Size Standard is
500 employees. Items/Services required: Rebuild/remanufacture of one
(1) AP-450T Wiremarker to include replacement of Dominoe Solo 4 Ink Jet
printer with new printhead, printhead mount, removal of old printer
cab; new fan and vent assembly and replacement of base cabinet exporter
cover. Rebuild is to consist of removal and replacement of wiring,
power supply for electrical panel. Replacement of transporter encoder,
camroll bearings, belts, bushings; Knife and Eject blade, Die cut
?mandrel, and bushings. Clean and/or Troubleshoot Knot and Splice
Detector, Coil Pan Assembly, Control Panel Assembly. Pneumatic Panel
requires use of existing panel with new fluid, filters, tubing and
seals and troubleshoot. Replacement of Auxiliary Drive Wheel Assembly
and Interface Mount. System Assembly, QC Test, Installation and
training also required. Required delivery: 30 Days ARO. Earlier
shipments are acceptable. Rebuilt items are to be delivered to USCG
Aircraft Repair & Supply Center,Rework Support, Bldg. 79, Elizabeth
City, NC 27909-5001 to the attention of Jackie Shepherd or Terry
Wooten. F.o.b. Contractor's facility. Final Acceptance shall be
destination. Closing date for receipt of offers is 11 March 1996, 3:00
pm, Eastern Standard Time. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be
forwarded via Fax Number 919-335-6496. FAR Provision, 52.212-2 does
not apply in that award will be made to the offeror who submits the
