US ARMY INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND(IOC) ADVANCED PLANNING BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY(APBI), APRIL, 1-3, MOLINE, ILLINOIS The theme of this year's APBI is ``Opportunities and Challenges in Power Projection, Industrial Operations & Munitions.'' It will focus on IOC core competencies: Power Projection, Industrial Operations and Munitions. This APBI continues and active dialogue between the command and current and potential contractors. It provides a broad overview of long-term acquisition planning, specific near-term plans for ammunition procurement and details of research and development efforts. It will also discuss policy changes, initiatives and strategies affecting the industrial ammunition base, and other topics of special interest to industry. There will be opportunities to meet and discuss issues with key command officials. The Welcome/Opening Remarks Supporting the IOC Competencies will be given by Major General James W.
