The Bureau of the Public Debt is upgrading the existing security alarm system with a new system providing the same degree of protection. The current system was installed over a period of 20 years by various vendors providing a mix of manufacturers' products. The Government requires the new system to have a centralized control panel to monitor all four Public Debt buildings alarm systems from one site. The Government does not have the manufacturer specifications or current wiring diagrams for these systems. The Government is also acquiring a closed circuit television system to record incidents occurring at all four Public Debt facilities in Parkersburg, WV. Currently Public Debt has one camera and monitor installed at 110 Park Center to assist in entry control of the facility. There are no other cameras at any other Public Debt facility. The camera and alarm systems are not to be integrated, they shall operate totally separate from each other. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by Public Debt.
