70 -- AN OPEN VENDOR CONFERENCE DUE 030596 POC POC Gloria Johnson 202/433-7256 The Navy is hosting an ''INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ELECTRONIC COMMERCE (ITEC)'' VENDOR CONFERENCE on 7 March 1996. The conference is scheduled for l:00 pm - 4:00 pm and will be held at the Convention Center of the Town & Country Hotel, Fashion Valley Road, San Diego, California, Telephone (619) 291-7131. The agenda will include a briefing on the Department of the Navy's ITEC project and the Tactical Advanced Computers (TAC-5) project, the Tactical Advanced Signal Processing (TASP) project, racks and enclosures, and other advanced tactical processing requirements. Vendors interested in attending the conference are required to pre-register. Vendors will be limited to 3 attendees each.
