(STS). For use on the M109 Family ofvehicles. The proposed contract
action shall furnish the Personnel, facilities, supplies and services
necessary to accomplish the systemengineering, configuration
management, integrated logistics support (ILS), quality assurance,
packaging, standardization and various re lated technical support for
the M109 Family of vehicles, which in cludes the M109a2-a5 155MM self
propelled howitzer, the M109a6 Paladin 155MM self propelled howitzer,
and the M992 Field artillery ammunition support vehicle (FAASV). The
systems techical support (STS) includes maintenance of the entire
technical data package (TDP) preparation, generation, and incorporation
of engineering change pro-posals (ECPS) maintenance, upgrade, and
publication of technical Man uals and performance of all engineering
work directives (ewds) and engineering studies, for the US Army, as

Oct 94 AMCCOM separated into two new commands, the industrial oper
ation command (IOC) and the Acquisition Chemical Armament Logistics
Activity (ACALA). It is imperative that special attention be Given when
addressing requests for solicitations and BIDS/offers. Failure to
properly address requests for solicitations in accordance with this CBD
notice will result in non-receipt of the Solicitation pack-age. Failure
to properly address BIDS/offers in accordance with so-licitation
instructions may result in a late bid which cannot be considered.
Written, FAX or electronic requests for Solicitation areaccepted. NO
telephone requests will be honored. Requests for cop-ies of this
Solicitation should include you Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)
(if a CAGE Code has been assigned to you) along with your name,
address, datafax number, and Solicitation number. The FAX number for
requests is (309) 782-4728. Electronic requests may be accepted through
the automated Acquisition Information System (AAIS). All TACOM-ACALA
solicitations are available for viewing/downloading, in addition to
procurement history, via the AAIS. The AAIS can be accessed
electronically, 24 hours a Day, utilizing a MODEM set to DI AL (309)
782-7648. Terminal emulation should be VT100, NO parity, 8 data bits
and 1 stop bit. Once connected, enter ''AAIS'' at the ''login'' prompt.
At the ''password'' prompt depress the ''enter'' key. If electronic
