40TH ANNUAL FUZE CONFERENCE, APRIL 16-18, 1996, San Diego Princess Resort and Naval Support Center, San Diego, California. The objective of the Annual Fuze Section Meeting is to provide a forum for the exchange of information throughout the fuzing community. Research, development and procurement plans and programs are presented by the US Government and Armed Services officials; and the latest advances in safety, arming and fuzing are detailed by industry and government experts. There are unclassified and classified sessions. This year's theme is ``Fuzing: Preparing for the Threat''. The Keynote Address will be given by Rear Admiral Paul M. Robinson; Program Executive Officer: Carriers, Littoral and Auxiliary Ships. There will also be presentations by Brigadier General James W.
