DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes installation of double wall pipe along piers, installation of risers along piers, installation of double wall pipe along streets, construction of reinforced concrete pump stations, electrical power, installation of oily waste treatment equipment (grit removal, load equilization tanks, plate separator, induced air flotation unit, oil storage tanks, pump stations, control systems, and other related equipment), installation of above ground ductile iron pipe, reinforced masonry, concrete paving, asphalt concrete paving, chainlink fencing, pre-engineered metal process building, wood framed control building, landscaping, irrigation, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is over $10,000,000. --Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 540 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1629 and the annual size standard is 17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Due to the excessive costs in duplication, only one solicitation set will be availble per contractor.
