16 -- STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR FOR U.S. COAST GUARD HH-65A HELICOPTERS POC Point of Contact: Brenda M. Peterson, Ph:(202)267-2525, Contracting Officer THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting a market survey to identify sources who can provide a two inch, self contained, Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compatible standby attitude indicator for its fleet of ninety-five HH-65A helicopters. The standby attitude indicator must comply with MILSPEC MIL-I-81454 and MILSPEC MIL-L-85762A with the exception of the following technical specifications: seventeen degree instrument panel installation angle, 28 VDC instrument power and 0 to 5 VDC dimmable instrument lighting. Contractors who believe they can provide the described item should submit a technical capability statement that includes: 1) a product catalog containing a brief description of all attitude gyros/indicators currently manufactured and offered for sale by the contractor, 2) a listing of those attitude indicators that the contractor currently produces which comply with MILSPEC MIL-I-81454 without the input power and instrument panel tilt requirements, and 3) a description of the contractor's previous experience at producing attitude gyros and indicators.
