The General Organization for Greater Cairo Water Supply (GOGCWS), in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S firms who can qualify through experience in providing similar equipment. The required vehicles are two crane trucks with turbocharged water-cooled diesel engine, 4 x 4 or 6 x 4 drive, capable of off and on highway operation, with hydraulic telescoping boom, and associated crane truck spare parts. A Fixed Price Host Country Contract with GOGCWS is anticipated. Payment will be made in U.S Dollars by USAID/ Cairo through a direct letter of commitment under USAID Grant No. 263-1093. Late bids will not be considered. Bids must remain valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 120 days from the date set for bid opening.
