49 -- CRAIN REPAIR AND LOAD TESTING FOR STOCKTON POWERPLANT STOCKTON, MISSOURI SOL DACW41-96-Q-0038 DUE 032296 POC Contract Specialist Lisa Bindel (816) 426-5443 (Site Code DACW41) This will be a rquest for quote of fixed-price service contract for repairs to the 325-ton bridge crane and load testing to be performed in accordance with OSHA requirements. Water weight testing is permitted. The crane consists of two (2) 162.5-ton main hoists and two (2) 30-ton auxiliary hoists. Repairs include rebuilding of the mechanical load brake on one auxiliary hoist, replace- ment of a main hoist load hook thrust bearing, replacement of a load pawl, cleaning gear boxes and replacement of lubricant. All work must be performed within a short delivery time frame. The work includes all necessary labor, mobilization, manufacturing, machining, welding, quality control and safety requirements for the subject work. The work environment involved will be the interior of the powerplant and approximately 40' above the operating floor level. The contractor shall establish and maintain a quality control system, safety reports and standards, etc. to ensure contract compliance with OSHA.
