The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your company's experience in production of the same or similar item, or if this is an item you have never made. If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated at ASO, submit with your offer a copy of the cover letter which forwarded your request for source approval. NSN 7R-5985-01-256-7312-CS, Ref Nr (96214) 2849595-3, Qty 2 EA, Delivery FOB Origin----- This is a requirement for a the repair of components used on the AN/APS-137 radar system used on the S-3 and P-3 aircraft. The requirement includes potential repair orders as well as management and reporting orders to be issued against BOA N00383-93G-003U. The ordering period will be 12 months for the P-3 peculiar components and such time as is necessary (but not to exceed 12 months) for the S-3 components pending award of competitive solicitation N00383-96R-0030. The requirement will be restricted to Texas Instruments the incumbent on repair BOA N00383-93G-003U. Extension of the BOA ordering period will be o/a 01 April 1996.
